1993

Founding of Genesis Enterprise in Warminster, UK.

The first office is opened in the basement of Ian and Linda Meaden's house.

1996

Exhibit at our first trade show in London.

1997

Genesis moves location from the basement to offices at 15 Market Place in Warminster.

1999

Our original name of Genesis is rebranded as "The Menu Shop".

2000

Launch of our first website.

2005

We move from 15 Market Place to 38 High Street in Warminster where the business resides to this day.  This allows us to broaden the scope of our development and the creation of various departments within the business.

We introduce our first range of outdoor menu display cases that prove incredibly popular in the UK market.

2007

We launch our first "buy online" website that allows customers to customise their orders online.  This proves to be an industry leader that maintains it's position for many years to come.

2010

We launch our sister site in Ireland

2013

Websites rebranded and revamped with extensive new look and new options for customers.

2014

We expand into Spain with a new website, dedicated sales and marketing teams.  We also run our first Spanish exhibition in Barcelona to massive success.

2015

Slight rebrand of our logo, no more "The" now simply Menu Shop!

2016

Launches of additional sites with dedicated teams in France and Greece.

2017

Our Spanish department relocates to Xativa in Spain.

We launch a dedicated Italian website that is managed from our new Spanish office.

2018

Website major redesign implemented across UK, Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Ireland.

2020

Covid brings the world to a standstill and it's effects are still felt in many ways.  The hospitality market is hit particularly badly which forces us to make major changes and a reconstruction of our work force.  This sadly includes the eventual closure of our long standing operation in Colne, Lancashire.

2021

Introduce full production capabilities in Spain.

2022

Ian and Linda Meaden retire from the business.

2024

Launch of our new UK and Irish websites that include a product builder allowing customers to be more creative than ever before.

2025

New websites in the works for France and Spain that will include product builder options.

Imminent launch of our dedicated EU site.
